In Memory of Those whose funeral masses we have provided music for

Naoise is walking in RIP.ie Remembers to celebrate the memory of Those whose funeral masses we have provided music for, while raising funds for Breast Cancer Ireland.

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page in support of Breast Cancer Ireland. Your support truly means a great deal. When I heard about the RIP.ie Remembers Walk, I felt compelled to take part. Each year, I have the honour of singing at and arranging music for families who have lost someone deeply loved. Every Mass, every story and every conversation stays with me long after the day itself. As part of this initiative, I have organised a special Mass of Remembrance (details below). During the Mass, the names submitted in advance will be presented, while our musicians offer gentle, reflective music - creating a quiet space to remember those we love and miss. (If you would like to submit a name, you can do so at www.encoreoccasions.com .) Mass of Remembrance Sunday, March 22nd 2026 St Anthony’s Church, Clontarf, Dublin 3 11am Mass (Webcam available for those who cannot attend) After Mass, we will walk the final 8km of the 20km RIP.ie Remembers Walk together - from the church to the Wooden Bridge, along the promenade to the statue of Our Lady and back again. All are very welcome to join us. I felt strongly about choosing Breast Cancer Ireland as the charity to support. In recent months, this cause has touched very close to home within our own team. Through this, and through the work we do with bereaved families, I have witnessed first-hand the courage and resilience required when facing a breast cancer diagnosis. For that reason, supporting Breast Cancer Ireland feels deeply personal. Breast Cancer Ireland funds vital research, clinical trials and advancements in treatment, working towards a future where breast cancer is treatable for all. I would be so grateful for any support you feel able to give. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this page would also mean a great deal. With sincere thanks, Naoise x

A quick morning walk in the sunshine after the school drop & before settling into work. A walk among the trees in the Phoenix Park, as the sun peaked through was a lovely way to start the day and reflect in the quiet silence.

Hoping to walk more than the 20km… Walking in the dark on a busy city street doesn’t leave a lot of headspace for reflection, but I kept the headphones away & tried to stay present… At least the rain has subsided. Will walk again tomorrow…

About RIP.ie Remembers

RIP.ie is a trusted platform that brings compassionate communities together in times of loss, and in 2026 we proudly celebrate our 20th year. To mark this milestone, we’re inviting our community to take part in a meaningful nationwide event — a 20km walk during March 2026. This shared journey offers an opportunity to honour loved ones, support local charities, and celebrate the strength of community. By turning remembrance into a real-world experience, shared grief becomes shared purpose, fostering healing and unity. For every charity registrant, a square foot of native woodland will be planted, creating a living legacy of remembrance.
