About RIP.ie Remembers

RIP.ie is a trusted platform that brings compassionate communities together in times of loss, and in 2026 we proudly celebrate our 20th year. To mark this milestone, we’re inviting our community to take part in a meaningful nationwide event — a 20km walk during March 2026. This shared journey offers an opportunity to honour loved ones, support local charities, and celebrate the strength of community. By turning remembrance into a real-world experience, shared grief becomes shared purpose, fostering healing and unity. For every charity registrant, a square foot of native woodland will be planted, creating a living legacy of remembrance.

About ÁIRC supporting children with disabilities in Mayo

Originally set up in 2009 by parents who themselves have children with disabilities. We started out wanting to know how we could make life easier and more fun for our kids and most importantly for the parents too. We do all sorts, from Sensory cinema, summer camps, parties 3 times a year, swimming lessons and so much more. We, to date, compromise of 6 parents who all have special needs children and do all these events in our spare time. We rely so much on volunteers and also the public. We do not receive any government grants. We solely rely on fundraisers and donations. Throughout the years the public have been so generous to us. All monies raised stays in Mayo and stays helping the children and families in Mayo. Thank you all in advance for choosing us as your charity. You really don't know how much it means to us. x We will be forever grateful
